Shrines

These relief sculptures represent individuals as not a frozen moment, but rather an accumulation of experiences, knowledge and baggage. They are constructed out of various found objects and materials. I like using pieces with a past. They have a certain energy and memory. They are artifacts of some one else's life. Framed like a reliquary to an idealize caricature.
